Harvest Fruit Crisp
Filling:
Cut 1-apple (cored) into thin chunks aks/slices and pal in a large bowl
Cut any other fruit you want into cubes and add to apples...
Suggestions:
-plum
-pear
-peach
ADD:
1/2 Tbs lemon zest
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 Tbs orange juice
In another bowl mix together:
-1 Tbs Sugar
-1 Tsp cinnamon
-2 Tsp flour
Pour the sugar mixture over fruit and mix together
Spray glass pan with cooking spray and place fruit inside
Topping:
Place all of the following together in a medium bowl:2 Tbs sugar1 Tbs. brown sugar
1/3 cup of flour1 Tbs quick oats
3 Tbs of butter
Mix with a pastry blender until topping looks like cookie dough. It should be mixed beyond the powder stage
Break into pieces and place evenly over apples
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes

Braided Cinnamon Apple Pastry
Braided Cinnamon Apple Pastry:
Ingredients:
1 pkg. rapid rise yeast
1/3 cup very very warm water*
1/4 cup sugar
t Tbs. Oil
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour (may not all be used)
1 Tbs. views
Filling:
2 Tbs. sugar
2 Tbs. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 apple
*instructions on yeast under calzone recipe
Instructions: preheat oven 400-425
1. In large mixing bowl dissolve
-yeast
-very warm water
2. add to yeast
-sugar
-oil
3. take the chill of milk by warming it in a sauté pan
4. add milk to mixture
5. stir in
-salt
-flour**
**put 1 full cup in and mix. Then slowly add flour until dough pulls away from side of bowl. All flour might not have been used or you may need more.
6. roll out dough into a rectangle
7. melt butter and brush all over surface
8. add filling in a straight line down the center
9. cut even stripes on each side of filling
10. fold over strips alternating left and right
11. bake for 18-12 minutes

Italian Calzones:

block of cheese**
1 egg
1 Tbs water
2 tsp cornmeal
1 tsp parmesan cheese
all spices listed below
*If water is too cold yeast will not rise and if it's too hot it will kill the yeast and it will not rise. Therefore put yeast in bowl. Get very very warm water. Then add the water to yeast.
**your choice of cheese-motzorella is delicious

1. preheat oven to 450°
2. Dissolve in an electric mixing bowl
-yeast
-water (very very warm)
3. add to bowl
-Sugar
-salt
-oil
4.Then add the yeast to a larger bowl with:
1 Tbs sugar1 tsp salt2 Tbs oil1/2 Tsp of basil1/2 tsp of garlic pieces1/4 Tsp of thyme1/4 Tsp of cumine1/4 Tsp steak seasoning 1 Tsp of onion flakes 5. Add 1 Cup of flour to the large bowl and mix with an electric mixer. (Add more flour if needed)Until the dough comes off the sides of the bowl.6. Roll out dough into a long and wide rectangle using a rolling pin7. spread only 3 table spoons of sauce down the center of the rectangle.8. Grate a block of cheese and place only down the middle of dough over the sauce.9. Fold dough almost in half and seal the dough. Pinch the edges until it is completely sealed.10. Place on greased baking sheet. 11. Brush egg wash on top and edges of the calzone. (1 egg + Tbs water beat the egg until it is foamy and frothy)12. Bake 450 Degrees on the middle rack for 12-15 minutes.

2/3 pan of water
3 Tbs. butter
1/4 tsp. garlic pieces
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 tsp. flour
3/4 cups milk
1 Tbs. grated parmesan cheese
pasta
Instructions:
PASTA:
1. bring water to a boil (used for pasta)
2. Once at a boil add pasta
3. cook for 8-10 minutes
SAUCE:
1. In a sauté pan melt
-butter
-garlic
-salt
-pepper
2. stir in flour
3. whisk in milk
4.remove from heat and add cheese
5. pour over pasta
Optional:
add 1 tsp Chipotle Mustard to sauce right before adding cheese

1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup and 1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup chocolate chips (or more!)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.preheat oven to 350°
2.Cream together butter, white and brown sugar slowly in a large bowl using electric mixer with the white paddle until smooth
3. add egg and vanilla and mix for 1 minute
4. mix together in a separate bowl
-baking soda
-salt
-flour
-chocolate chips
5. add flour mixture into electric mixing bowl and turn on low speed until loud has mixed into dough
5. Using spoons place small rounds of dough onto 2 ungreased cookie sheets
6. Bake on top rack for 8-10 minutes
THIS RECIPE MAKES 18-20 COOKIES
